How the journey began

The story begins in Kenya, Africa. Africa changed not only my life but my husband's life as well. We first ventured there in the year 1993. We were there for two months for a medical mission trip and in those two months God gave us a heart for Africa. Over the next twenty years we traveled to Africa many times. We visited Kenya together, but my husband’s travels led him all over the country. I have felt called by God to adopt a child from Africa since our first trip there, but only in the past year or so did we decide to take the huge leap of faith of adoption. We already have three beautiful kids: Rebekah (15), Will (13), and Abigail (11), but three just simply isn't enough!
